Mason Barrientes discovered that today at The Sparrow's Nest, as he smashed three home runs during the 9-6 New York Mets win over the Virginia Black Bears. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the New York left fielder said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Barrientes finished the day with 3 hits in 5 at-bats and 6 RBIs. Mason Barrientes grounded out in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Derek Darlington in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off J.J.
