Finch Selected Top Player Monday, August 29th, 2022 At the age of 26, Mike Finch might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Texas second baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .632 batting average. For his efforts Finch collected the Western Region Player of the Week Award. He racked up 12 hits in 19 at-bats, 3 home runs and 7 RBIs last week in 5 games. This year Finch has hit at a .240 clip with 82 hits, 24 home runs, 66 RBIs and 56 runs scored. |
