20-Game Hitting Streak for Perdomo Friday, August 26th, 2022 Alex Perdomo of the New York Mets extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with 3 hits in today's 4-0 triumph over the Montreal Expos at Olympic Stadium. "Alex has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Mets manager Arturo Sena joked after the game. Alex Perdomo singled in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Pat Shue in the 8th. Perdomo has a .352 average and a .417 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 153 hits, 26 home runs and driven in 83 runs. |
