Rockies-Cardinals Fight Nets 3-Game Suspensions Monday, August 22nd, 2022 Jonathan Brashear of Colorado and Danny Sanchez of St. Louis have been sanctioned by the league office for causing the ruckus at Coors Field yesterday. Both players have been given 3-game suspensions for instigating the fight and subsequent free-for-all. In his stats this season, Brashear has posted a batting average of .225 with 58 hits in 258 at-bats, 17 home runs and 51 RBIs. He has also scored 41 runs, walked 41 times and compiled a .332 OBP. Sanchez's record so far this season is 2-and-2 with 1 save and a 3.02 ERA. He has given up 37 hits in 41.2 innings with 39 strikeouts. |
