Bad Behavior Costs Pollard and Currie Wednesday, October 8th , 2042 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's St. Louis-Kansas City contest at Busch Stadium presented by Purina. The Terriers Daniel Pollard and the Royals Blair Currie will have to sit out 4 and 9 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. In 80 games this season Pollard is batting .229 with 50 hits and 5 home runs. He has scored 21 runs and driven in 23. In 29 starts this season Currie has compiled a 16-5 record and a 3.11 ERA. |
