Whitley Bangs Out 6 Base Hits Wednesday, September 14th , 2044 Kymani Whitley did more than his part as the New York Yankees topped the Philadelphia Phillies today at Citizens Bank Park. The Yankees center fielder pounded out 6 hits to pace his team to a 18-5 thumping of the Phillies. Kymani Whitley doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, struck out in the 8th and hit an RBI triple in the 9th.
