Astros Move on to Divisional Series Monday, October 17th , 2050 The Houston Astros took time to celebrate with the Houston fans who stuck around after the game, following the team's Wild Card Series triumph over the Colorado Rockies. Members of the Astros hung around chatting, high-fiving and taking pictures with the Houston fans in attendance at Minute Maid Park, long after the last pitch had been thrown in their 4-1 win to seal the series 4-1. "We've got great fan support," said center fielder Nicky Alvarez. "Whether we're at home or on the road, the fans support us. So we wanted to show them how important that is to us. Some Colorado fans that were there even congratulated us on the win." For the series, Alvarez hit .500 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, 5 RBI and scored 7 runs. Things weren't so cordial on the Rockies side of things. Their clubhouse was closed to media after the game and all players and coaches quickly dressed and left the stadium after the end to their season.
