Kabo Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Monday, August 24th, 2026 Nobody has been able to shut down Virginia Black Bears center fielder Bill Kabo in recent days. The Philadelphia Phillies fared no better than the rest. Today at Citizens Bank Park, Kabo picked up 3 hits in 4 at-bats en route to a 13-2 Black Bears victory. It stretched his hitting string to 20 consecutive games. Bill Kabo doubled in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, walked in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 9th. So far this season Kabo is batting .299 with no home runs, 15 RBIs and 18 runs scored. He has 47 hits in 157 at-bats, 8 walks and a .337 OBP. Kabo has played in 42 games. |
