Starting Pitcher Dion Will Retire Wednesday, November 18th , 2054 Vincent Dion said it's time for him to concentrate on "being a father and a husband" after this baseball season. At age 41, the native of Val-d'Or, Canada has announced he will retire from professional baseball. "I want to thank all my teammates, the fans, and the New York Mets organization, but this is it for me," he said. "I've got a lovely family at home I can't wait to spend more time with." In all, Dion has compiled a 40-39 mark during his career and a 4.25 ERA. |
