Escobar, Escobar Swap Teams Monday, August 1st, 2022 It has been in the rumor mill for several weeks, but today team officials for Chicago and Kansas City confirmed an agreement. The Cubs dealt 28-year-old RHP Edgar Escobar to the Royals for a 4th round draft pick. So far this season, Escobar has compiled a 3-2 won-lost mark with 1 save and a 5.55 ERA. In 47 innings he has fanned 51 and opponents are hitting him at a .265 clip. |
