Wimbush finished with 2 hits in 5 at-bats, but could not stop the Mariners from dropping the 5-4 decision. "Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Wimbush. Jonathan Wimbush singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, flied out in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. So far this year Wimbush has 12 home runs and a .306 batting average. |
