Baltimore, California Trade Made Monday, August 10th, 2026 The Orioles and Angels pulled the trigger on a deal that will see 24-year-old minor league CF Rodolfo Reyna and 22-year-old minor league 1B Nate Winegar head to California in exchange for 30-year-old LHP Laurent Schweitzer. A source close to Baltimore officials said "The teams spent long hours coming to the agreement and in the end, both agreed the deal should help both clubs." For the season Schweitzer has made 26 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 2-1 won-lost mark and a 2.20 ERA. In pitching 41 innings, he has totaled 33 strikeouts and 11 walks. |
