Sabine's Hit Streak Reaches 25 Games Saturday, August 8th, 2026 Paul Sabine ran his hitting streak to 25 straight games today at SunTrust Park, when he collected 3 hits in 5 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Atlanta Braves dropped the game, 9-3, to the Milwaukee Brewers. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Sabine said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Paul Sabine doubled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th. So far this year, Sabine is batting .314 with 3 home runs and 29 RBIs. |
