Texas Trades Arroyo for Arizona's Saunders Monday, June 24th, 2019 The Baseball News Network is reporting that the Rangers and Diamondbacks have consummated a trade. Arizona will receive 30-year-old LHP Jorge Juarez, 29-year-old LHP Mike Harris, 26-year-old RHP Carlos Arroyo, 28-year-old LHP Brad Whitten and 21-year-old minor league CF Mike Maheu in a swap for 31-year-old RHP Jared Saunders, a 5th round draft pick and a 8th round draft pick. A league analyst called the trade a "fairly even transaction." His record this season is 1-2 in 4 starts and Arroyo has a 9.18 ERA. So far this year Saunders has a 3-8 record with a 6.05 ERA. |
