Injury Worsens, Return Delayed for Reds Evans Saturday, September 22nd , 2046 The Cincinnati Reds announced today that Wade Evans would be missing for longer than expected as the 24-year-old starting pitcher recovers from a finger blister. "Wade had been working out with the team recently, but felt some discomfort yesterday," the Reds GM explained to the press. "After re-examining the injury, the team's medical staff decided that Evans would need extra time to heal. Their estimate is 5 days more recovery time." To date this year Evans has compiled a 0-0 mark with a 1.15 ERA in 0 starts. |
