Long: Big Hit in the Eastern Region Monday, May 13th, 2019 At the age of 29, Aaron Long might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The New York second baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .536 batting average. For his efforts Long collected the Eastern Region Player of the Week Award. He racked up 15 hits in 28 at-bats, no home runs and 5 RBIs last week in 6 games. Long is hitting .320 for the season with 2 home runs, 22 RBIs and 18 runs scored. He has 49 hits in 153 at-bats and played in 36 games. |
