Dominique Day-to-Day with Injury Saturday, September 26th , 2048 Yankees star shortstop Wendell Dominique might be sitting it out a few days after he picked up an injury in yesterday's game against the Montreal Expos. He sustained a strained rib cage muscle while colliding with a player at a base. Dominique isn't expected to miss a lot of time. However, doctors want to be cautious. They said he would be day-to-day for about one week. This year Dominique has socked 139 hits in 475 at-bats for a .293 average with 16 home runs. He is getting on base at a .370 pace and his totals also include 53 RBIs and 80 runs scored. |
