Braves Wins, 7-0, as Aguilar Mystifies Chicago Sunday, August 1st , 2038 Atlanta Braves starter Bobby Aguilar really did a number on the Chicago Cubs today, shutting them out 7-0 on 3 hits in a complete game victory. He issued no walks and had 10 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," said Chicago manager Adri van Bavel. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Aguilar."
