Joshua Kerns Injured, Out for Year Tuesday, July 27th , 2038 The Cincinnati Reds were dealt a severe blow when Joshua Kerns was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the Seattle Mariners. After the game, the team trainer reported Kerns might have to spend a lengthy time on the injured list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 31-year-old starting pitcher out for the rest of the season with shoulder inflammation. They indicated it would take Kerns at least 4 months to heal. This year Kerns has posted a 6-5 mark in 20 starts and has a 3.77 ERA. |
