Thatcher Gagich Injured, Out for Season Sunday, September 9th , 2046 The Baltimore Orioles and their fans were rocked today by the news that star starting pitcher Thatcher Gagich would miss the rest of the season due to injury. Gagich was hurt in a recent game against the Philadelphia Phillies while throwing a pitch. He was immediately removed from the game and taken for examination. Tests today revealed the injury was elbow inflammation. His doctors think that Gagich will miss about 4 months. In 6 starts this season Gagich has registered a 4-3 record and a 3.12 ERA. |
