League Suspends Timko and Balderas for Fisticuffs Wednesday, September 23rd , 2054 Gage Timko of the Cleveland Indians and Ricardo Balderas of the Milwaukee Brewers will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 3 and 7 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Indians-Brewers game at American Family Field. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Timko and Balderas will begin serving them soon. So far this year, Timko is batting .262 with 7 home runs and 34 RBIs. Balderas has gone to the hill for 11 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 0-0 record with a 8.00 ERA. The Milwaukee reliever has limited opposing batters to a .289 batting average. |
