Timmy Prosper Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Friday, June 11th , 2038 Vancouver closer Timmy Prosper suffered a season-ending injury throwing a pitch in today's game against the Astros. According to club doctors Prosper has bone chips in his elbow. Although Prosper has declined to comment, sources close to the player have stated that he is "devastated" that he will miss the playoffs. Looking at his pitching stats so far this season, Prosper has 23 relief appearances, pitched 24.2 innings and fashioned a 0-2 record with a 1.09 ERA. He has recorded 14 saves, struck out 37 and allowed opposing clubs to hit .193 when he is on the hill. |
