Mariners Starter Wins WEST Pitching Award Monday, July 1st , 2052 The Western Region scribes have announced June's Pitcher of the Month and have given the award to Carson Loveday of Seattle. He was one tough cookie on the mound last month with a fine 5-1 mark to prove it. The Seattle star made 6 starts with a 2.25 ERA and surrendered 38 hits in 44 innings. He struck out 43 and walked 5. This year Loveday has posted a record of 12 wins and 3 losses with a 2.45 ERA. He has appeared in 16 games and struck out 117 in 110 innings. |
