Brown Hurt, Listed DTD by Blues Monday, July 27th , 2048 Is R.J. Brown going to tough it out and play through an injury? We'll get the chance to find out 1-2 weeks as the outstanding Memphis left fielder attempts to shrug off shoulder tendinitis he sustained throwing the ball against the Chicago Cubs. Whether management lets him play or handles him with kid gloves will depend mostly on how Brown feels on a day-to-day basis. But there's little doubt that the Memphis Blues will be happy for the talented player to return at full strength as soon as possible. This season Brown is batting .311 with 113 hits, 22 home runs, 65 RBIs, .372 OBP and has scored 53 runs. |
