Dovin and Dyer Dealt Monday, June 24th , 2052 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the California Angels and the Pittsburgh Pirates have agreed to a deal that will have 26-year old RHP Royce Dovin heading to Pittsburgh in exchange for 22-year old minor league CF Tracy Dyer. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. So far, Dovin has earned no saves in 20 relief appearances. He has 27 strikeouts and 19 walks in 30.2 innings while registering a 5.28 ERA and a 3-0 won-lost record. |
