Palma and Mason Fight, Get Suspended Sunday, June 23rd , 2052 Marco Palma of the Virginia Black Bears and Theodore Mason of the California Angels will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 9 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Black Bears-Angels game at The Sparrow's Nest. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Palma and Mason will begin serving them soon. Palma is hitting .253 for the season with no home runs, 5 RBIs and 7 runs scored. He has 20 hits in 79 at-bats and played in 28 games. So far this season Mason has compiled a 7-4 record with a 3.46 ERA. |
