St. Louis Sends Sienkiewicz to San Diego Monday, June 17th , 2052 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the St. Louis Cardinals and the San Diego Padres have agreed to a deal that will have 36-year old RHP Sebastian Sienkiewicz and $1 in cash heading to San Diego in exchange for $1 in cash. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. This year Sienkiewicz has collected no saves in 14 relief appearances. He has also compiled a 0-0 won-lost mark with a 8.22 ERA and fanned 14 batters in 15.1 innings. Opponents are hitting him at a .368 clip in 2052. |
