Injury Forces Nicodemo Alcorta Out Monday, June 10th , 2052 Chicago White Sox second baseman Nicodemo Alcorta suffered an elbow strain during a recent game with the New York Mets and will miss 5-6 weeks. Alcorta told BNN, "I hurt it throwing the ball. I'm optimistic that I will be back quicker than they say." Alcorta on the season is hitting .260 with 2 home runs.
