Kirby Rogers Hurt, Out 1-2 Weeks Wednesday, May 29th , 2052 Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher Kirby Rogers left yesterday's game against the New York Mets after suffering forearm tendinitis throwing a pitch. Rogers was taken to the clubhouse for examination by team doctors. A team spokesman told BNN today Rogers is expected to miss 1-2 weeks. This year Rogers has fashioned a 1-3 mark, 6.00 ERA and pitched 30 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .252 against him and he has logged 15 strikeouts. |
