Kansas City, Las Vegas Deal Made Monday, July 20th , 2054 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Royals announced today the acquisition of 30-year old SS Dave Herbster from the Las Vegas Knights in exchange for $1 in cash. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Royals, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." This year, Herbster has hit at a .244 pace and produced 43 RBIs, 10 home runs and scored 29 runs. |
