Rivera led his club to a 9-3 victory over the Cincinnati Reds today at Great American Ball Park, smoking Cincinnati pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. The 29-year-old first baseman later called the victory "sweet." Alex Rivera singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Miguel Lozano in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and singled in the 9th.
