Rosendorff and Ramírez Fight, Get Suspended
Monday, May 6th , 2052
If there wasn't a history between Josef Rosendorff of St. Louis and Eleazar Ramírez of Oakland, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 3 and 7 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today.
"We're both really competitive," Rosendorff said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it."
So far this season, Rosendorff has recorded a .242 batting average with 24 hits, 3 home runs, 8 RBIs, 16 runs scored and a .339 OBP.
Thus far this season, Ramírez has tossed 41 innings in 7 starts, fanned 55 batters, walked 4 and put up a 2.85 ERA with 4 wins and no losses.
