Tomsjansen Propels Chicago to 4-0 Win
|
The 2052 season is going from bad to worse for Texas.
The Chicago Cubs defeated the Texas Rangers, 4-0, in Western Region action at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Chicago pitcher Erminio Tomsjansen had a standout performance. Brayan Juratovac was called on to finish, recording his 1st save.
Tomsjansen worked his mojo for Chicago. The hard-throwing left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 6 innings of work.
"Winning a ballgame these days," losing manager Luis Dorado told reporters, "is harder than big game hunting without a gun."
Chicago goes to 11-11.
