The Indianapolis Ignition, despite a fine performance by Cincinnati pitcher Ethan Martin, grabbed a 3-0 win at PepsiCo Park. Martin allowed 3 runs over 5.2 innings. Ellis Fido claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. His record stands at 1-1. Royce Dovin closed it out for Indianapolis, earning his 4th save.

The Ignition got a big at-bat from right fielder Andy Helms. For the game, Helms went 2-3 with 2 doubles and a walk. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 6th double of the season gave Indianapolis a 1-0 lead.
