Guzman Excels, New York Blows Out Fresno
The New York Yankees handed the Fresno Falcons a sound defeat, 14-1, at Savemart Center. Jeronimo Guzman was a main contributor to the win. He went 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 7 RBI and scoring twice for New York. For the Falcons, the loss makes their record 8-14.

Sebastian Elizondo went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, while scoring 2 for New York. The two-time Gold Glove winner had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth. With no one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring single off Collin Sheppeard. It was his 26th hit of the season.
