Catfish Defeat Legends, 8-2

The Columbus Catfish got a good effort from starter Todd Rubio in defeating the Lexington Legends at Progressive Field. The final score was 8-2. Columbus bumps their record to 36-41 with the win.
Maury Bennett took Lexington hurler Dwight Myers deep in the bottom of the seventh. His 2-run home run put the Catfish on top, 3-2. In all, Bennett had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"Todd was able to locate to both sides, up and down," said Columbus manager Francisco Avalos.
