Santana Delivers Walk-Off Win for Power
|
The bats were quiet at Appalachian Power Park. But 19-year old third baseman Noel Kettenring produced just enough offense to carry the Power past the Hickory Crawdads, 3-1, in 10 innings. Kettenring was 2-2 with 2 singles and a walk. With the win, the Power hiked their record to 42-37.
West Virginia got a clutch hit from Carlos Santana. The third baseman launched a 2-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.
"The crowd was boisterous tonight," said Santana.
