Fireflies Deal Suns 6-3 Defeat
The Columbia Fireflies knocked off the Hagerstown Suns, 6-3, in South Atlantic League action at Ballpark of Hagerstown. Columbia pitcher and Richmond Heights, Ohio, native Will Hulett had an outstanding performance. Nicolás Alou earned his 25th save, after closing out the game. With the victory, the Fireflies upped their record to 46-29.

Columbia used the hitting of Ennis Alexander to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Fireflies on top, 4-0. For the game, Alexander had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I found a nice groove out there," said Hulett.
