The Columbus Catfish and Rome Braves played an entertaining game for Progressive Field patrons.

The Columbus Catfish clipped the Rome Braves, 3-2, in 10 innings at Progressive Field. The standout performance belonged to Columbus pitcher and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, native Oscar Armiso. Ulisses Salazar picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 4-1. Lee Merklein suffered the loss.

The Catfish got a clutch hit from catcher Justin Johnson. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Catfish.

"What a great win for our team," said a jubilant Francisco Avalos, the Columbus manager.

The victory gives the Catfish a record of 37-23.
