Cook hits 2 home runs to Power Bananas Offense
|
Bananas designated hitter Hendrix Cook left his mark on his team's 5-3 win over the Lexington Legends. Cook, who is tied for 7th in the SAL in RBI with 36, hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for Savannah in the contest. David Garibay picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-3. Érick Marceau was tagged with the loss. Patrick Boston finished to wrap up his 2nd save.
Early in the game, Cook had a 3-run home run for Savannah. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Bananas on top, 3-0.
"A great game, a great day," said Cook about the win. "I can't complain."
Today's win puts Savannah at 30-29, while Lexington falls to 8-51.
