The Lakewood BlueClaws beat the Greenville Drive, 14-5, at Lake Olmstead Stadium. Lakewood shortstop Jayden Brady had an outstanding performance. He belted 3 home runs. He scored 5 runs and drove in 7. Eric Henry was the winner. He's now 2-3. The loser was 24-year old right-handed pitcher Timothy Ramos. Clayton McDermott closed it out for his 2nd save.

With Lakewood leading 6-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Brady came up to bat against Greenville pitcher Isias Esperanza. Brady hit a fastball to right for a grand slam home run. His 6th home run of the season put the BlueClaws on top, 10-0.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Lakewood manager Ben Schiappa.

Lakewood has now won 3 in a row.
