The Delmarva Shorebirds went down to defeat to Hermes Rivera and his Asheville teammates. The final score was 6-2, in favor of the Tourists. Hugo Salomon closed it out for Asheville, earning his 3rd save. The Tourists sit in second place in the South Atlantic League Carolina Division with a record of 32-23.

The Tourists got a big at-bat from third baseman Logan Heiting. For the game, Heiting was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Asheville a 5-2 lead.
