The Hagerstown Suns downed the West Virginia Power, 7-4, at Ballpark of Hagerstown. Harold Gonzalez led the way, going 2-for-3 for Hagerstown. Pierce Perkins snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 2 innings. He's now 1-1 on the season. Hagerstown now sports a record of 25-29.

Hagerstown took the lead, 7-4, on Walt Olvera's 2nd home run of the season. The grand slam home run came off West Virginia pitcher Eliseo Velez in the bottom of the seventh.

"We didn't play well enough to win," West Virginia skipper Israel Cantwell said.
