The Rome Braves got a superb performance from pitcher Sid Ralph, but the Greenville Drive still won the game, 6-3. Ralph came in in relief and pitched to 19 batters. Brandon Webster, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 14th save. Greenville now owns a record of 29-21.

Odie Monroe helped out the Greenville cause in the bottom of the second inning with a 2-run single. For the game, the catcher went 1-3, while adding 2 RBI.

"We didn't get the results that we wanted," said Rome skipper Oscar Lopez.
