Bush Lays Hammer Down in 5-0 Win
|
Roberto Bush was superb against Milwaukee. The right-hander, who finished 2nd in the EAST in wins with 17 last year, had a curveball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Twins victory. The score was 5-0. Minnesota has a mark of 7-9 after the win.
Bush earned the win to move to 1-1. In his 8.1-inning performance, he scattered 2 hits, striking out 11 and walking 0. The right-hander allowed the Brewers few scoring opportunities.
"Like I've always said, I'm the straw that stirs the drink," Bush said (again).
