Tourists Snatch Late Win
|
Asheville catcher Esequiel Larios had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Columbia Fireflies, 4-1. The Tourists are now 25-23, while the Fireflies fall to 19-29.
The game was all tied up in the bottom of the eighth, until Larios delivered big-time for Asheville, stroking a dramatic 2-run single off Brian Giancaspro. The game-changing hit put the Tourists on top, 3-1.
"The hot tub feels extra good after a solid win," said Larios.
