Madaleno Solano helped his team muscle past the Columbia Fireflies, 5-4. In the game, the Asheville center fielder went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Asheville pitcher Sage Beebe got the win. He's now 3-2. Jack Barclay was tagged with the loss. At 24-23, Asheville is in 5th place in the South Atlantic League Carolina Division.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Asheville catcher Esequiel Larios, facing Jack Barclay, had a run-scoring ground out. It gave the Tourists the 5-4 win.
