Reddick Stars as RiverDogs Top Hot Rods, 6-3
|
Jeremy Reddick made an impact in the 6-3 Charleston win over Bowling Green. Reddick, who is tied for 2nd in the SAL in stolen bases with 13, went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Max Scanlon, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save. The RiverDogs improved their record to 25-16 with the win over Bowling Green.
Reddick had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-2 fastball from Jess Silva, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the RiverDogs a 6-3 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Reddick.
Reddick called the win "an overall solid one."
