Mason Leads Charge, Delmarva Blasts BlueClaws
The Delmarva Shorebirds routed the Lakewood BlueClaws, 15-1, at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. Greyson Mason, who is tied for 2nd in the SAL with a 1.023 OPS, was one of the hitting stars. He was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 5 for Delmarva. With the win, the Shorebirds improved to 23-20.

With Delmarva leading 3-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Mason hit a changeup from James Boyden for a grand slam home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Shorebirds ahead, 7-0.

"That was brutal," said losing manager Ben Schiappa. "The sooner we can turn the page, the better."
