Big Day for Schmunk as Legends Down Growlers, 10-8
Augie Schmunk added some punch to the Lexington offense, helping them outmuscle the Jonesboro Growlers, 10-8. In the game, Schmunk was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Picking up the save was 24-year old right-handed pitcher Craig Stallbaumer. Lexington is now 4-34, Jonesboro 13-25.

Carlos Neves had a timely hit in the bottom of the fifth inning. With one out and the bases loaded, the Lexington first baseman hit a 2-run single. That put the Legends in front, 4-3.

"If I do my job, we've usually got a good chance to win the game," said Neves.
